CROS PRESENTS THE SECOND RELEASE OF THE “NATIONAL INDEX OF ANXIETIES”

17 July

The second release of the quarterly “National Index of Anxieties” was published on July 16. A unique methodology, developed by the agency’s experts, allows to study the grey zone of people’s phobias and fears that are not visible in sociological surveys and the media agenda. A special unit was introduced for the index: MediaJung measures reproduction of fears and their penetration in the traditional and social media.

In Q2 2019, the overall estimate brought up to the top fears related to construction of a landfill site or a waste recycling plant next to the living area, fear of dying in a plane crash and fear to find oneself face to face with a fire.
